Loperamid Sandoz® wird angewendet bei Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen ab 12 Jahren zur symptomatischen Behandlung von akuten Durchfällen, sofern diese nicht mit anderen Maßnahmen (Therapie der Grunderkrankung, Diät, Ersatz von Wasser und Elektrolyten) beherrscht werden konnten und bei denen die Gabe von Antibiotika nicht indiziert ist.

Loperamid Sandoz® ist ein stark wirksames Durchfallmittel. Es wirkt antiperistaltisch und erhöht den Darmtonus. Loperamid Sandoz® lähmt die Darmbewegungen und sollte in keiner Reiseapotheke fehlen.
